Yesterday we finally took a big step and set foot in a stained glass store to get glass for our first projects!  I’ve been slowly buying the tools we will need.  I picked out my first pattern weeks ago.  Now I just need to find the time to sit down and start cutting.

  This is the fastest I’ve ever made progress on a piece.  Yesterday I was able to cut all 20 pieces in one sitting.  Today I was able to grind all 20 in one shot.

Second Project

  I've chosen this cute squirrel as my second project.  After starting it I realize this may not be the best choice since it has all kinds of curves.  I guess I simply need to look at it as a way to improve my cutting and grinding skills.  I've already improved my skills with the grozing pliers.  This little guy is missing his cute little scarf.  Looks like I misplaced the vinyl pattern pieces.
