Yesterday we finally took a big step and set foot in a stained glass to get glass for our first projects!  I’ve been slowly buying the tools we will need.  I picked out my first pattern weeks ago.  Now I just need to find the time to sit down and start cutting.

Cleaned Up and Testing Fit

  I was so excited to see this piece come together.  It's been a very slow process, but I'm learning, and Rome wasn't built in a day.  Unfortunately, while cleaning and removing the vinyl pattern pieces, one piece flew out of my hand, hit the floor and then cracked into 4 tiny pieces.  So, two steps forward, one step back as I recut, grind and clean my busted piece.
