Progress!

 


This is the fastest I’ve ever made progress on a piece.  Yesterday I was able to cut all 20 pieces in one sitting.  Today I was able to grind all 20 in one shot.

Cleaned Up and Testing Fit

  I was so excited to see this piece come together.  It's been a very slow process, but I'm learning, and Rome wasn't built in a day.  Unfortunately, while cleaning and removing the vinyl pattern pieces, one piece flew out of my hand, hit the floor and then cracked into 4 tiny pieces.  So, two steps forward, one step back as I recut, grind and clean my busted piece.

Swivel End Running Pliers

If you experience challenges while cutting circles or curves, give these pliers a try.  I just got them yesterday so I honestly haven't used them a lot.  However, the cuts I have made have been amazing.
