Stained Glass Journey

Yesterday we finally took a big step and set foot in a stained glass to get glass for our first projects!  I’ve been slowly buying the tools we will need.  I picked out my first pattern weeks ago.  Now I just need to find the time to sit down and start cutting.

 My daughter has chosen to learn how to create stained glass creations for her (school) year-long project.  I spent quite a bit of time watching my dad make pieces years ago.  We are going on this journey together and this blog is my attempt at documenting my/our progress.  She has her own utilities to document her progress for class, so this will be more of my progress, but that won’t stop a proud mother from sharing a picture or two of her daughter’s work.
